Dr. Rowan Rustem Molnar Is Serving As an Educator for Many External Organizations

Dr. Rowan Rustem Molnar is a seasoned medical professional with more than 25 years of experience in cardiac surgery, orthopaedic surgery, tumour surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and specific expertise in anaesthesia for critically ill patients. Presently, he is the Head of Discipline, Anaesthesia at the University of Tasmania, Staff Specialist Anaesthetist at Launceston General Hospital, and ECronicon Anaesthesia Editorial Panel Member at ECronicon.

Dr. Rowan Molnar has also been serving as an educator in various organizations for many years. Some of them are:

From 2013 to 2014, Dr. Rowan Molnar worked as part of the Surgical Support Team (Australian Government) and provided a wide range of anaesthetic, analgesia and related services for the patients of the Australian Federal Police (AFP). In addition to this, he participated in Anaesthetic administrative matters such as; preparation of medical reports, rosters, technical advice on medical equipment, the preparation of tender specifications, committees, and staff meetings.

Dr. Rowan Molnar is an experienced professional who has inspired many people with his presentations on health and the human condition. Recently, he released his book titled, “Creative Disruption in Medicine & Healthcare,” which aimed to help medical groups, associations, and physicians gain a better understanding of the healthcare practices and approaches for quality improvement.

His various publications include Pre - Bypass Myocardial Ischaemia in Patients Undergoing Coronary Artery Surgery, Evaluation of a Breathing Circuit Disconnect Device, Comparison of Clonidine and Epinephrine in Lidocaine for Cervical Plexus Block, and more.

Dr. Rowan Molnar Has Years of Experience in Anaesthesiology

Dr. Rowan Molnar is a reputed medical professional with significant years of experience in anaesthesia at a tertiary referral hospital level in Australia and internationally. He also possesses clinical specialization in tumour surgery, reconstructive surgery, cardiac surgery, orthopaedic surgery, and plastic surgery.

In 2000, he founded St. Vincent’s Simulation Centre and this centre received funding from both private as well as government sources. He appointed highly-qualified staff which included simulation specialist assistants, medical educators, and park task trainers.

He started his professional career at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne as an intern and then as a Junior Resident Medical Officer. After that, he served as an Anaesthetic Registrar at the same hospital. From 2013 to 2014, Dr. Rowan Molnar worked as part of Surgical Support Team and fulfilled a wide range of responsibilities including analgesia and related and anaesthetic services to the patients of the Australian Federal Police.

In addition to this, his duties also included providing outpatient consultations, pre-operative assessments, and he participated in an afterhours on-call roster for services to patients in the Australian Federal Police (AFP). He also participated in development processes and performance appraisals, participated in anaesthetic administrative matters which included rosters, medical reports, technical advice on medical equipment, staff meetings and committee formation, and preparation of tender specifications, and fully supported quality Human Resource Management.

Dr. Rowan Molnar continued to work with St. Vincent’s Simulation Centre as the Director of Medical Education, and he also introduced simulation as the modality of education. He also developed a procedures manual, and authored, and organized regular participation of various instructors in the delivery of courses at external institutes.

He is also associated with many medical societies that include the Australian Medical Association, Society for Education in Anaesthesia, Association for Study of Medical Education, Australian Society of Anaesthetists, Australian Medical Association, American Society of Anaesthesiologists, Australian Institute of Company Directors (AIDC), and Association for Study of Medical Education. Apart from this, he is also a member of Lilydale Flying Club, Tasmanian Aero Club, MENSA, and Harvard Club.

He is author of the book entitled, “Creative Disruption in Medicine & Healthcare.” The purpose of this book is to help medical groups, associations, and physicians gain knowledge and learn a better approach in an ever changing technological world. . Owing to his skill and expertise, he has earned much positive praise among his peers.
